It would appear that Evolution Studios has been practicing black magic since DriveClub’s delay last year, as despite being one of the most visually impressive titles in production for the PlayStation 4, the next-gen racer will only consume 17GB of hard drive space. This will apply to both the full release and the PlayStation Plus version, meaning that you’ll only need to download a small unlock if you decide to upgrade to the complete release.
Elsewhere, the Runcorn-based developer has confirmed that the game has now gone gold, meaning that there’s almost zero chance of it parking up in the showroom for another 12 months. Earlier in the week, the British firm outlined its DLC plans for the title, revealing a bunch of complimentary content which will be deployed over the coming year. Wow, 17 gb is nothing these days. I am actually impressed. Hell, my PS3 has games that eat up more memory than that when you include DLC.
Very excited!
And what if I don't have 17GB of space??
Racing games don't usually take up much space anyway. Lookin forward to playing this. I've wanted a racer for my PS4 since its release last November and now 3 come along.
A guess racers are like buses...
@Ieuan9250 do you really play ALL your games...?
