We've said it once and we'll say it again: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt looks bloody fantastic, with an emphasis on bloody. Yesterday, an intriguing developer diary that focused on the game's setting was released, and today, we've been given another look at the title's gameplay.
Lead character Geralt once again finds himself in a creepy, swampy area where he's come to help out a small village in need of his rather unique services. As with most dark fantasy villages, this one is being plagued by some sort of malevolent magic, and it's up to our silver haired hero to wander off in search of the creature that's tormenting these simple folk. As always, the environments look gorgeous despite their dreariness, while combat appears smooth and, er, to the point. Have a seat and watch the video that we've embedded, and tell us if you're desperate to get your bloodied hands on this action RPG in the comments section below.

Does anyone think this won't be game if the year?
100% game of the year IMO. This is probably the first true epic since Skyrim. Cant wait.
I am hoping Dragon Age has enough to hold me over until this.
@SonyInfinity I thought dragon age was delayed until 2015, is it actually coming in November? Very happy if it is.
@SimonAdebisi Yeah, it's out in November. Was delayed by a month.
I, m syched. ...action game all the way! !!! Will be glad to finally meet u garult!
@get2sammyb I thought both DGI and Hard line were delayed until 2015. My bad, there I was assuming Sony were too lazy to update PSN store.
@SimonAdebisi Not sure about GOY though it could be.
Remember it'll be up against Uncharted 4 and Zelda among others...
@Dodoo I only refer to ps4 goy.
A horsey ride across the map will apparently take forty minutes. This alone is awesome.
Playing Witcher 2 on my PC at the moment in preparation, and really looking forward to this. Sacrilege I know, but I do think the series could learn a few things from console releases. Better handling of animations and cut-scenes etc. but the lore is awesome, good story, the gameplay and combat is sublime (though I still suck at it). So much great stuff. I can't wait.
Cant wait for this really been waiting for somethimg to lose myself in like i did with skyrim.
