You can say what you like about David Cage – we're not kidding, say whatever you like – but there are very few designers that make games as ambitious as the one's spearheaded by Quantic Dream's divisive director. And it seems that the auteur's distinctive style may be starting to catch on, as brand new PlayStation 4 exclusive Without Memory is directly inspired by both Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls.
Built on the spiffy Unreal Engine 4, the ambitious new title is billed as a "third-person action thriller" that features hyper-realistic graphics and a plethora of perplexing puzzles. Apparently the game will also feature stealth mechanics, and a fancy dialogue choice system that makes use of the DualShock 4's touchpad.
If you want to know more about the title, you can find the official website through here. However, the site is in Russian, and unfortunately none of the highly trained monkeys in our intergalactic translation team are fluent, so you'll just have to make do with Google Translate. Do you like the look of Without Memory? Does David Cage tug at your heart strings, or make you want to vomit? Let us know in the comments section below.

More games, no problem. Happy gamer:)
Personally, I know I'm in the minority, but I love David Cage's style. It's not an easy thing to pull off, though — even Cage struggles with it a lot of the time — so I'm cautious of how well a new studio can pull it off. I wish them the best, though — the touchpad choices thing sounds intriguing.
I loved beyond twobsouls, didn't care much for heavy rain but it was worth a play through. This game definitely interests me, always like a bit of multiple choice dialogue.
This game sounded enticing when I posted about it a few weeks back at its original announcement with the developer stating they'll have some in-game shots during the summer. Considering this announcement links Dualshockers with some fresh concept art, those screenshots still aint come yet. Shame. Still a ways to go till its pencilled 2016 release date but I hope the promised in-game shots come soon enough so we can get a glimpse of whether the games atmosphere will possibly match the early concept art @get2sammyb David Cage is boss #Emotion
Why would Cage make you vomit? He makes game, like them or not. There are no other games like this, and you have to respect that.
I loved Heavy Rain...I wasn't as keen on Beyond: Two Souls. I didn't dislike the mechanics I just didn't like the story it told as much.....but Heavy Rain, murky story...seedy locations, brave choice of story line...loved it. If this game takes the right cues from the way Cage makes games then I'll be all over it. His style might not be for everyone but those people don't have to play the games he creates....I dislike CoD and that why I don't touch the franchise...different folk different tastes. I play games for immersion, narrative and creativity.
Inspired by my two least favorite "games"? I think I'll pass, unless they actively try to fix the innumerable flaws those games had.
Hmm...I rather like the cinematic experience when it comes to games like this. I'll give it a shot.
Loved Heavy Rain. Bring it on.
People complain about TLOU gameplay, but as far as I know HR is just QTE's, that's not really gameplay is it.
@CanisWolfred Same here...those games are just interactive movies as far as I'm concerned.
(I still plan on buying/owning and playing them eventually though)
