Fat Princess

Fat Princess is a strange PlayStation character. Despite only appearing in a couple of titles to date, the meaty monarch is still regarded as one of the brand’s biggest mascots. Fortunately, the portly princess is about to make her debut on the PlayStation Vita, as part of a brand new match-three puzzle game.

Also due out on mobile devices, Fat Princess: Piece of Cake sees you matching blocks in order to save your greedy future queen. Collecting gems will allow you to upgrade your troops, while you’ll also be able to feed her majesty with fresh slices of Victoria sponge in order to unlock special stomp attacks. It sounds a little like fellow Vita exclusive No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either.

However, the one advantage that this game has is that when you reach Level 15, you’ll unlock a free copy of the original Fat Princess for the PlayStation 3. If that’s not an incentive to smile through the inevitable barrage of microtransactions, then we really don’t know what is.
