Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare

As teased earlier this week, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is set to shuffle onto the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 imminently. The re-release will run in full 1080p at 60 frames-per-second on Sony’s next-gen format, making it the definitive version of the wacky third-person shooter. Those of you in North America will be able to harvest the title on 19th August, while Europe will have to wait until 22nd August to get their green fingers on the game.

In addition to boosting the resolution, developer PopCap Games has also bundled in both Garden Variety and Zomboss Down expansion packs in order to make up for the title’s delay. Moreover, if you pre-order the release, it looks like you’ll get access to a handful of PlayStation exclusive customisation items and stickers, which seemingly include Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper themed goodies.

Furthermore, the title will take full advantage of Remote Play, allowing you to continue your game on the PlayStation Vita, and will be compatible with the PlayStation App, meaning that support-minded players will be able to contribute to the action in Boss Mode on a mobile or tablet device. Oh, and there’ll be full split-screen co-op available in this iteration of the rural escapade, too. Are you eager to root down with this release?
