The subtitled footage of the forthcoming PlayStation Vita exclusive delves into the post-apocalyptic aspects of the adventure, and also hints at a single saintly figure that you need to save in order to attain true freedom. Don't worry, we're baffled, too.
The crux of the game sees you assume the role of a warrior who’s been born with a one million year prison sentence. The only way to overcome that substantial term in the slammer is to slay the monsters that have taken control of the Earth. I'm so hyped for this game. Revolution! Prison! Fighting for freedom! It sounds awesome. Also the thorn gameplay is something im looking for. Monster hunter + bio commando xD
That level with abandoned ship looks interesting =). Now I really want open world hunting game =). And it seems like developers really watched Shingeki no Kyoujin..

@BornOfEvil He means attack on Titan. In this video there isn't as much as wall swinging but it's typical attack on titan style..
@Sanquine I know what he's talking about, but there isn't much, if any, resemblance. It's more akin to a move from Code Geass, where Knightmares would grapple onto a wall and use it as a vantage point.
@BornOfEvil Guy who controls titan and want to punish humanity. And that fight in half destroyed city. Also, those victims in monsters,. Humanity on the edge of destruction. Thorns. All this taken from Shingeki no Kyoujin or at least looks like it. Also, one of the main story themes of Shingeki no Kyoujin is wish for freedom and fear to take it and meaning of freedom as a whole.I have Shingeki no Kyoujin vibes from that game, one way or another. Code GEAs is very different story and have more common things with Mirai Nikki or Death Note, if you ask me. With anime about mind games =)). But, yeah, that girl... Don't remember name of witch from Code GEAS =). But that girl resembles her. But it's good that developers took ideas from great anime like that. And not from some harem crap =).

We used to get trailers like this all the time back in the PS2 era. Don't you miss the Japanese creativity on a big budget basis? I sure do.
Anyway, it's a shame big budget games are not the frequent with Vita as it really is a capable beast!
I'm interested to see them justify the prison sentence. If more-or-less everyone has a lengthy prison sentence, doesn't it seem kinda pointless to care about it? Really looking forward to the game, but I'm still a bit iffy on that plot point (though the trailer seemed to explain it a tad). I'll find out wen release comes
