If you’re anything like us, you’ve probably been spending the last few days fiddling about with inFAMOUS: Second Son’s recently implemented picture mode in order to create magnificent artistic masterpieces. The strangely addictive feature offers a great way of appreciating the superhero sim’s gorgeous visuals. What’s more, there’s something incredibly satisfying about carefully capturing every pixel of Delsin Rowe’s angsty face.
With this in mind, some patient fans have managed to employ the addition to create these 180 degree GIFs that show just how good the game really looks. The images demonstrate the title’s propensity for particle effects, as well as its absurdly detailed reflection and lighting engine. We’re sure that there are much more technical terms for all of the things that we’re describing, but we’re honestly too busy looking at the pretty pictures to care.
Have you been tearing up the rain-soaked streets of Seattle? Does the new picture mode push your buttons, or are you a bit camera shy? Teach us how to pronounce GIF in the comments section below.

I too spent a good deal of time with the new photo mode. I wish they implemented photo mode in every game, it's so great. and I spell G.I.F. out just to be safe. it's one of life's many mysteries. "jif" "gif" I've even heard "geef" though i'm pretty sure it's safe to say it is in fact not geef.
@SunnyShores I often find myself pausing the game in the middle of really intense fire fights just so I can see what it looks like in photo mode. Which is a pretty bad idea, because it usually ends up getting me killed.
I agree though, I'd really like to see them implement the mode in other games, especially early in the generation when we're all trying our darndest to find improvements over our previous consoles

agreed. it would be a good idea. I know how you feel I've died SO MANY TIMES after unpausing from photo mode. worth it though. I just think of how many other, awesome games that could benefit from such an option. the new arkham game later in the year would be perfect for it. it's something simple, but genius.
Looks amazing. PS4 looks good.
