Do you want to know how Hideo Kojima made Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes look so good? Are you eager to learn how every follicle of Snake's facial fleece was fashioned to a fine finesse? Is all of this alliteration making you physically ill? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you're in for a treat, as Konami has recently released a short video that demonstrates just how the title's impressive graphics tick.
The clip shows off the finer subtleties of the Fox Engine, while also giving us a look at how that newfangled motion capture technology works. Fancy. Now, if we could just get word on a release date for the title's sequel The Phantom Pain, we'd be golden. Does this video impress you, or – like the game – does it come up a little short? Call a chopper in the comments section below.

Facial fleece. Love it. I'm 'borrowing' that one, @K_Andersen.
It is cool to see all the layers of stuff going on at once to make it look so good. Yeah, we need a freaking release date.
@charlesnarles
Shouldn't be too long now since the MGS 5: Ground Zeroes prologue cough demo cough team are done and are likely relocated to fully focus on the main course.
Speaking of which i wonder how that new KP LA team is doing on MGO Online, I extremely enjoyed MGS4 Online? So i'm psyched for that.

"Does this video impress you, or – like the game – does it come up a little short?" "facial fleece"
Oh look out we have a comedic badass over here!
@Big-Boss I almost forgot about that! Hopefully no cardboard box trick this time... I wish it'd be stand-alone like they had in Japan for MGS4's so that matchmaking wouldn't take so darn long. Some of the best avatars I've seen were on MGO, from "Gimme Dat Blood" to "Bernie Mac"
Awesome! Meh! 8 mins completion time!! Slightly more important?!? (Most expensive tutorial award goes to . . . . . .). Won't this all seem a bit "well done . . . . . But 10 other games have been out before Phantom Pain that made us go WOW!"
I'm currently playing Ground Zeroes, and I'm loving it.
After actually sitting down and playing the thing, it's clear to me that the game isn't a rip-off at all. Yes, the story mode is short, but it also comes with a stack of side-missions and challenges. I'm currently at about 32% completion, with about 10 hours put into it.
REALLY can't wait for Phantom Pain!
