Fighting games are only as good as their crossovers these days, and Divekick: Addition Edition Plus – the upcoming re-release of Iron Galaxy’s sudden death brawler – has scored a corker in the form of Saints Row’s greased gangster Johnny Gat. The open world superstar will appear in the PlayStation 4 version of the brawler first, before being incorporated into the PlayStation 3 and Vita editions at a later date.
If you can’t wait to get a taste for his aerial attack abilities for yourself, you’ll be able to test out his (presumably) smooth moves at PAX East this weekend. Even more intriguingly, the developer’s set to announce a second playable character during the show, so stay tuned for further details. For those out of the loop, Divekick: Addition Edition launched as a patch last week for the PS3. However, there’s no word on when the character enhancing update will be made available for existing or next-gen formats.
