There's an unsurprising result in this week’s UK sales charts, as animated role-playing tie-in South Park: The Stick of Truth has waltzed straight to the summit of the best-sellers list. The hilarious outing farted in the face of Square Enix’s mediocre Thief reboot, which slipped down into second. Elsewhere, The LEGO Movie Videogame and FIFA 14 rounded out the top five.
There was only one other new arrival this week, with Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures popping pills all the way into 21st position. Meanwhile, Batman: Arkham Origins enjoyed a bump on the back of Batman: Arkham Knight’s announcement, while Aliens: Colonial Marines continued to prove that anything will sell with a £4.99 price sticker.
A complete lack of hardware availability once again impeded PlayStation 4 software sales, but Knack did make a valiant return to the Top 40 in 39th position. As always, you can peruse the full list of movers and shakers through here. Have you been giving your wallet a workout of late? Peel off a crisp note in the comments section below.

Stick of truth was an impulse buy I don't regret, 33% complete over the weekend and may even decide to make it my first platinum.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the combat in SP. I have never been a big turn based fan but it was alot of fun.
Apart from having to re load a check point after getting stuck in a taco bell truck and a bit of lag when running through town the game is pretty much flawless. Loved the fact that the edited out anal probing was made fun of by matt n trey.
Really want this on vita.
@617Sqn it would be pretty good on the vita, the touch screen function could be implemented very well, the game itself is only about 3.6 GB
Happy to see South Park Stick of Truth doing so well in UK, despite it been censored
Man really wish I could afford the $60. Oh well, here's hoping Amazon's selling it for $30 New or cheaper during Black Friday.
