Beyond the doom and gloom regarding its somewhat disappointing sales, the PlayStation Vita has quietly blossomed into a must-own piece of kit over the past twelve months. The hardware itself was always exceptional, but now the handheld has a game library that’s deserving of its meaty processing power and delicious OLED display. And if you’re looking to add even more titles to your portable backlog, then Sony has got the perfect promotion for you.
The platform holder’s latest ‘Play’ initiative in North America centres on four upcoming pocketable escapades: OlliOlli, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, Dustforce, and TxK. Starting tomorrow, these titles will be deployed weekly as part of the usual PlayStation Store update – and if you buy them all, you’ll get $10 credited to your PlayStation Network account. Don’t worry if you’re not interested in the full lineup, as you’ll still get a $3 reward for buying two games and a $6 gratuity for snagging three titles.
Even better, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to take advantage of a 20 per cent discount during each outing’s launch week, meaning that there’s a maximum saving of $24.60 up for grabs. If you want to know more about each game, the PlayStation Blog has some choice quotes from each release’s developer. Which of these titles are you planning to pick up? Fill your overpriced memory stick in the comments section below.

Olli Olli & Dragon ball battle of Z are mine:D
Not sure about the titles on offer, but everyone should own a Vita now. EVERYONE.
I'm really looking forward to TxK, personally. Pretty interested in all of these titles apart from Dragon Ball Z, though - that's just not my cup of tea, really.
@get2sammyb the original was crazy, that's gonna be a good remake. They better have not touched the music!
@get2sammyb TxK is the title that i'm not interested in.. I totally don't get it...
@Sanquine New version of Tempest 2000, bro!
Maybe there'll be a demo for you to try.
Dustforce and TxK look right up my alley. I'll wait and see how OlliOlli turns out.
BATTLE OF Z, I want it so badly but I really hope they release a demo for PS3 before jumping in. I'm really picky with mechanics and overall feel in fighting/brawl games but it should be good if J-Stars Victory mechanics are really based on this game.
Dust Force was one of those games I always wanted to try.
Dragon ball z yes please, looks awesome. Just downloading the demo now! TxK I'm getting this because its gonna blow my mind ha ha, worth it just for the music. TxK is gonna sell stupid amounts I think. nam nam llamasoft. The other two ain't my bag.
Hm, Beat 'em up, Shoot 'em up, Clean 'em up, Skate 'em up. I'm noticing a trend here...
@CanisWolfred Hehehe yeah Buy 'em up...
Wait all 4 for 10? Well thats bloody cheap
@Sanquine DBZ for 40, I think or 35...
@Gemuarto I misread... so, its still expensive :S
@Sanquine you can get them all for just over 58 and get 10 back. Where is this deal in Europe
@Epic the demo is already out for PS3
@Epic Um isn't there already a demo to try out on all platforms? Very certain there is since December.
