PS Vita Play 2014

Beyond the doom and gloom regarding its somewhat disappointing sales, the PlayStation Vita has quietly blossomed into a must-own piece of kit over the past twelve months. The hardware itself was always exceptional, but now the handheld has a game library that’s deserving of its meaty processing power and delicious OLED display. And if you’re looking to add even more titles to your portable backlog, then Sony has got the perfect promotion for you.

The platform holder’s latest ‘Play’ initiative in North America centres on four upcoming pocketable escapades: OlliOlli, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, Dustforce, and TxK. Starting tomorrow, these titles will be deployed weekly as part of the usual PlayStation Store update – and if you buy them all, you’ll get $10 credited to your PlayStation Network account. Don’t worry if you’re not interested in the full lineup, as you’ll still get a $3 reward for buying two games and a $6 gratuity for snagging three titles.

Even better, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to take advantage of a 20 per cent discount during each outing’s launch week, meaning that there’s a maximum saving of $24.60 up for grabs. If you want to know more about each game, the PlayStation Blog has some choice quotes from each release’s developer. Which of these titles are you planning to pick up? Fill your overpriced memory stick in the comments section below.
