Popular anime convention Jump Festa is taking place in Japan right now, and Square Enix has hijacked the occasion in order to debut a new trailer for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX for the PlayStation 3. The compilation – which includes Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and the cut-scenes from Kingdom Hearts Re:coded – is due out sometime next year.
The trailer is not tremendously exciting, as it merely splices scenes from all of the abovementioned titles and sets them to an epic brass soundtrack. Still, we must admit that we found Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse’s dubbed accents more than a little frightening. Nevertheless, the high-definition upgrade looks decent – especially in the case of the PlayStation Portable game. Will you be sticking up your hair in anticipation for this upgrade? : ) KH overload
Yep i'll be picking 2.5 HD Remix, I've still yet to play my copy of 1.5 HD Remix. I'll get around to it sooner or later if I can pull myself away from my PS4.
Woo, Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth By Sleep~
this is the collection I've been wanting. KH2 is my fave and I never got to play BBS (darn you square enix for no psn version!!!)
I'm super excited for this. Hope it comes out sooner than later.
Nope. Dream Drop Distance ruined it for me. I'm fed up with Sora's freaking story.
@DarkwingLz you could always play birth by sleep because it isn't sora's story
That would require me to get a PSP. No thank you (which brings me to my next pet peeve with the series: platform exclusivity)
@DarkwingLz Or you could play it on your PS3 on the collection.
