DmC: Devil May Cry

As the sun sets on another month, Sony is teasing the bevy of bandwidth busting PlayStation Plus content that is set to occupy your greedy hard-drive over the winter weeks. Several smash hits are set to join the Instant Game Collection in Europe imminently, with the highlight being Ninja Theory's divisive (but amazing) DmC: Devil May Cry. The swashbuckling slash-'em-up will be available for free from 24th December, meaning that you'll be able to spend Christmas Day with Dante and his dodgy haircut.

Also poised to stage an assault on your Internet connection is Gearbox's shoot 'n' loot funny fest Borderlands 2, while PlayStation Vita owners will score complimentary copies of Soul Sacrifice and bonkers fighter Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extend. Finally, owners of Sony's spangly new next generation console will scoop Don't Starve from 8th January, which sees you assume the role an intrepid scientist named Wilson who finds himself forced to survive in a world of science of magic.

It's worth noting that GRID 2, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed are all set to depart on 24th December, while PlayStation 4 indie Contrast will blend into the shadows on 8th January. As always, various deals and discounts will be detailed throughout the month. Are you satisfied with this lineup? Are you eyeing this selection with jealousy overseas?
