Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Makes a Bid for Freedom This Month

You’ll be walking the plank as first mate Adewale this holiday, as a Ubisoft advertisement has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’s post-release expansion ‘Freedom Cry’ will set sail on 17th December. The add-on pack will be available for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, and promises four hours of single player content.

The narrative will take place several years after the events of the main campaign, and will see the sailor freeing slaves and presumably sinking galleons with lashings of cannon fire. The content will be available for free as part of the title’s Season Pass, but there’s no word on a standalone price just yet. Will you be setting a course for this content?
