It's good to share?

The PS4's Share button is being promoted as one of the console's biggest selling points, allowing you to share footage of your best gaming moments with friends via a wide variety of services. One of those services was expected to be YouTube, but recent reports suggest that Sony will block uploads to that particular site, instead forcing users to stick with PSN, Facebook, Twitter and Twitch. It's also being said that video capture via HDMI isn't possible, either.

This would be a real blow for users of the machine, as sharing to YouTube is already being sold as a massive feature of the system. However, Sony's Shuhei Yoshida has already moved to counter the claims via his Twitter account:

It sounds like Sony is working on a solution for this issue at present — perhaps there's some disagreement with YouTube — but we really hope they manage to sort this out in the fullness of time. We personally can't wait to spam YouTube with our gameplay videos.
