Not sure whether to sign up to PlayStation Plus when you grab your shiny new console? Well, Sony is offering all PlayStation 4 owners a chance to put their doubts aside by providing a 14 day free trial of PlayStation Plus with the purchase of its next-gen machine.
The free trial will provide access to titles in the Instant Game Collection such as DriveClub and Housemarque’s newly-announced shooter ResoGun. PlayStation Plus members will also be able to get hold of Assassin's Creed III for free in the coming weeks. Happy days.

Won't need it but nice gesture. I think those who may not be familiar with the service will be converted once they see how much value you get from it. I'd think at the very least it could lead to a bunch of 3-month subscriptions since the price for that is very reasonable.
they should have included a month code or a 3 month code to also reward current subscribers that are early adopters.
+1 for Sony again.
I was planning on signing up for a year anyways, but this is a nice gesture that will hopefully convince those that are on the fence about signing up for the service.
Cool! I have Plus until Oct. 2014 anyway, but this is a good way to lure people in...and give 'em the opportunity to check out Driveclub and some other cool games from the get go...even if it's only for two weeks.
If we are already Plus members do we get 14 more days too?
