This is why Akiyama's not invited

Kazuma Kiryu’s proficiency with the martial arts may have made him a better fit for mascot mash-up PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale – but the Yakuza protagonist is no stranger to the golf course either. As such, we suppose it makes perfect sense for the former Tojo Clan chairman to join the roster of Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational.

According to Siliconera, the character will be available as DLC for both the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions of the game in Japan. He’ll set you back a modest ¥500, and will come with specially recorded voice samples. It all sounds awesome, but don’t expect the content to release overseas – there’s still no word on Yakuza 5 making its way to Western territories, after all.
