If you’re not entirely sold on Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch’s uber-cool Wizard Edition, then perhaps you’ll be tempted by GameStop’s equally attractive steelbook. Simply pre-ordering the Level-5 RPG at the US mega retailer will reward you with the gorgeous box embedded to the right. Don’t fight it, you know you want it.
Meanwhile, those of you that prefer to shop at Amazon will be able to grab a “Griffy” familiar exclusive to the Western version of the game. According to Namco Bandai’s accompanying press release, the “creature is not to be trifled with, especially when it evolves into its most lethal forms, the griffurnace or the griffrigerator”. Duly noted.
The game's due out on 22nd January in North America and 25th January in Europe.

The steelbook case looks nice and I'm going to reserve the game anyway but I'm not sure if I would want the steelbook case since the outer case seem to scratch easily and whenever I take a Blue Ray/DVD out of a steelbook case it feels like I'm going to break the Disc.
this game took so long to come...
Conflicted now. Should I get it from Namco, GS, or Amazon. ;_;
That steelbook case looks extremely nice and the Griffy download sounds like a pretty cool bonus as well. It would be awesome if the Wizard Edition came with both of these bonuses but I seriously doubt it. I'm still getting the Wizard's Edition.
Preordering. Thanks for the heads-up!
Ooh, nice steel case! Can't wait for Ni No Kuni's release!
