He's also predicting that Rockstar's latest will outsell every other title released in 2012 should it drop this year. Y'know what, we think he could be onto something.

Chatting to Industry Gamers, the analyst put his head on the block by stating that the open-world sequel will outsell the next Call Of Duty game, even though he expects the latter to generate its customary large numbers.

“It goes without saying that GTA V will be one of the year’s biggest releases, but I will take it one step farther and say GTA V will be 2012?s biggest release,” said Divnich.

Grand Theft Auto IV — which released back in 2008 — has sold a monstrous 22 million units globally to date. However, Call Of Duty continues to smash entertainment records year in, year out.
