It was always going to be a tough ask for the single-format Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception to topple the massively hyped multiplatform Battlefield 3 — but the Naughty Dog developed exclusive hasn't quite managed the monumental task, winding up in second on this week's UK sales charts.
It's not all bad news though, Uncharted 3 saw a 37 percent increase in sales over its predecessor, which is a great boost. The game's launch is also the eleventh biggest ever on PS3.
Elsewhere, Sonic Generations hopped into the bottom half of the charts in tenth, while GoldenEye 007: Reloaded infiltrated the top-twenty in 16th.
