The head-to-head between Battlefield 3 and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 this Christmas is the only one that matters. And the competition is so fierce that not even the Paris Games Week can pick a winner.

The best shooter award was, well, a tie. Seriously. Both Battlefield 3 and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 took home the gong. Elsewhere, Sony scooped up an award for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception and Ubisoft did the business on their home turf.
