Dark Souls Has Topped The Japanese Sales Charts.

We're starting to wonder if Sony regrets not pushing Demon's Souls harder worldwide now, with success pretty much guaranteed in the West too.

Sony's ICO & Shadow Of The Colossus Collection had a similarly strong opening, scooping up the second, 14th and 20th spots. EA's Shadows Of The Damned wasn't so successful, selling just 9145 copies in its opening week.

Despite being a strong week for PS3 software, hardware sales didn't exactly explode, with a reasonable but hardly staggering 39k systems shifted.
