The publisher announced Virtua Tennis 4 at E3 earlier in the year, but still has another top-secret title up its sleeve.
On Vita, we can came out pretty early on and said we were going to give support to the hardware, Hayes told VG247 in an exclusive interview.
And we will have at least two titles at the launch of Vita. When exactly thats going to be of course, we dont know, but were assuming its going to be by the end of the Sony financial year, we guess, so weve got that.
At the time of writing, Sony has only committed to a Japanese PlayStation Vita launch in 2011, with a Western release due sometime before March 2012.
In addition to the two launch titles, SEGA's confirmed that it has a further three games in development for the platform. SEGA recently announced that it had constructed a brand new studio in Solihull, England to develop an exclusive PlayStation Vita title.
Clearly the publisher is stoked about Vita's potential. Hayes told VG247 that he has got a feeling that Vita will be a very handy digital delivery device".
Probably along the lines of what were making for PSN and XBLA, I think, with enhancements, its going to be really suitable for Vita. So weve very much embraced it and its a beautiful piece of kit. We hope Sony get the numbers that we think theyre going to do on that.
Exciting. Nice to see big publisher support for PlayStation Vita this early.
[Thanks VG247]
