Back To The Future Heads To Retail As Telltale Signs Up As PS3 Publisher

While Telltale's been at the forefront of episodic digital distribution for some time, the developer's also keen on selling its games in the old-fashioned way; as evidenced by its new status as a PlayStation 3 publisher

Now You'll Be Able To Purchase Back To The Future From A Physical Store If You Prefer.

The developer has upped its relationship with Sony in order to sell its previously PSN exclusive titles on Blu-ray disc, starting with Back To The Future. The disc version of the episodic series will launch at retail this October for $19.99.

But the agreement extends beyond Back To The Future, meaning Telltale can effectively bring any of its PSN series to retail, including Strongbad's Cool Game For Attractive People, Puzzle Agent and more. Telltale's yet to announce any future plans, but we wouldn't be surprised if last year's Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse made it to retail too.
