Caplin said that PSN users would be given the opportunity to select two PS3 games from a list of five, with PSP users getting access to two games from a choice of four. We're assuming owners of both a PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable will be eligible for both offers, though we must stress that it's not clear from Caplin's comments. As previously announced, all users will get a 30 day subscription to PlayStation Plus, with current subscribers getting an additional thirty-days and a subsequent for day each 24-hours the PlayStation Network remains offline.

Caplin also took the opportunity to remind users that SCEE are working hard on an identity theft programme for European players, but highlighted the complications of this process due to the number of countries in the region.
