Raiden's Voice Actor Doesn't Know Much About Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising is all about series-punchbag-come-series-badass Raiden. But the character's voice actor doesn't know a thing about the game.

“I am completely in the dark. I have no answers. I have no idea,” a flustered Quinton Flynn told TheGamingLiberty in an interview, explaining that he'd not been contacted by Konami nor Kojima Productions about the game.

“I have not been approached in anyway shape or form. There has been no communication. There’s been no information and I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve tried to make efforts to find out what’s happening and have not been able to get any answers at all.

“I would love for them to make that phone call. I would love for them to give me a jingle and let me know that maybe they’ve been working on lots of other stuff for this game and now they’re ready for me. But I don’t have high hopes, let’s just put it that way. I’m not expecting anything.”

Metal Gear Solid: Rising was announced at E3 many years ago, but since then we've seen very little of the spin-off release. Kojima's put out a couple of trailers, but no hard release information. Perhaps this year we'll find out exactly what the situation is with Rising? Yeah, err, don't hold your breath.
