Mass Effect 3 Postponed Into Early 2012, 'Biggest, Boldest And Best Game In The Series'

Mass Effect 3's executive producer Casey Hudson has revealed on Facebook that the next installment in Commander Shepard's adventure will not debut until the "first three months of 2012"

The game was previously due out in the Fall of this year.

"The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyones expectations," he said.

Considering the calibre of the titles scheduled for release later this year, we can totally cope with a small delay to Mass Effect 3. It's disappointing, but probably for the best.
