Sony has frequently insisted that it will have the PlayStation Store back online by the end of the month, and it looks like the platform holder is going to squeeze every last minute out of that deadline.
Sony has announced that the PlayStation Network will go offline for a few hours next Tuesday evening (from 19:00 BST through 01:00 BST) for maintenance. We can only assume, hope, pray and cross our fingers that when everything's back online the PlayStation Store will come back up with it.
The downtime will affect various aspects of the PSN experience, though if you're logged in before the downtime begins you'll still be able to play online.
Please get it back online Sony. If nothing else, we're really, really bored of writing about the PSN right now.
