EA's confirmed that this year's Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters is the fastest selling game in the franchise's history
Gamasutra reports that the title has shifted 225,000 units during its first week on release — a favourable 17 percent more than Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 which was the previous best seller.
It's well deserved too: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 is a fantastic golf game.
To celebrate the game's success, EA's released some statistics, announcing that since launch players have participated in over 7 million games, making a total of 185 million shots.
