The firm told MCV that the mobile-phone-coming-handheld-games-device will launch with six titles: Crash Bandicoot, FIFA '10 [apparently not '11 - Ed], Bruce Lee Dragon Warriors, Star Battalion, Tetris, and The Sims 3. Over 50 games will be made available via PlayStation Suite, with additional titles available through the traditional Android marketplace.

Sony's said that all mobile carriers and retailers will have the phone, and that it may be sold at traditional gaming retailers too.

“We are currently still in commercial conversation, but I’d be surprised if we didn’t see Xperia Play appear in other channels,” Sony Ericsson’s marketing director David Hilton said. “All the mobile operators and retailers are selling it. It is rare these days to get a product that is sold everywhere, but this is one of those. This will be the biggest marketing campaign we have had in the UK.”
