DC Universe Online Is Certain To Make Our January Hell.

We can't really afford to get seriously addicted to games because we constantly have to be moving on to the latest thing. Thankfully, last we heard Sony Online Entertainment's comic-book MMO wasn't slated to release until the Spring. We thought we had plenty of time to fight away our addiction compulsions.

We thought wrong. SOE's just slapped a January 11th/14th date for DC Universe Online in North America and the UK respectively. That's like four weeks away. Four weeks! God, how are we going to cope?

What's worse is that January looks ridiculously stacked as it is. Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2 will all be vying for our attention. How can we justifiably spend the month fighting off the Scarecrow's band of experimental prisoners? We can't. But we might just have to because, if there's one other thing we've learned from playing DC Universe Online, it's that it's a bit brilliant. Totally broken, but brilliant.

There's full pricing information through here (North America) and here (Europe). It's about to hit the fan, yo.
