Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit's Demo Will Promote The Game's Autolog Features.

The mechanics Criterion are labelling as "Autolog". Instead of simply giving players a taste of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit's racing, the game's demo - set to release this week on PSN - will also feature the social aspects.

Players who invite a friend to the demo will unlock a second track to try. These features will be suspended on November 9th, but that provides plenty of time to try it out.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is blowing the roof off social competition and bringing excitement back to the racing genre, said Criterion producer Matt Webster.

Were putting players and their friends at the heart of the gameplay experience by automatically tracking and comparing each persons performances. This demo will give gamers a snapshot of Need for Speed Autolog and how were amping up the energy of intense pursuits, competitive racing and online connected play nothing is more powerful than beating your friends.
