We don't think we're exaggerating when we say this is truly the worst name for a video game ever conceived. But then, we expect nothing less from the publisher who puts the 13th iteration of their franchise under the "Fabula Nova Crystallis" banner. Cut it out Square. It's dumb.
Not so dumb is the new Dissidia game itself. It looks proper fantastic actually. Square's announced this afternoon that it will be released exclusively on the PlayStation Portable next year in Europe and North America. Hurrah for that. Final Fantasy XIII's Lightning will make an appearance, as will the lovable Tifa from Final Fantasy VII and FFVI's Kain.
Square's teasing that more character announcements will follow in the coming months. We're quite looking forward to this one. Who said the PSP was dead, eh?
