Might We See More Ratchet & Clank As Opposed To Resistance 3? Who Knows At This Point!?

Weirdly.

When Insomniac teased that an upcoming PlayStation 3 project would be announced soon, we jumped straight on the gun. We said that Resistance 3 would be at gamescom. And while we still stand-by the gamescom thing — we're now starting to doubt the existence of Resistance 3.

In an interview with ShogunGamer, seasoned voice actor David Kaye revealed that Insomniac are currently "working on more" Ratchet & Clank. Sorry, what?

There are some interesting developments always coming from Insomniac Games. Were working on more R&C currently.

We already know that Ratchet & Clank will be a part of the previously announced PlayStation Move title, Heroes On The Move. However, as far as we're aware, that game is not coming from Resistance studio Insomniac.

Obviously, we've proved that jumping the gun is not always the best practice — you end up with egg on your face. But if Insomniac really are working on a new Ratchet & Clank, colour us a little disappointed. Don't get us wrong, we love that franchise with a passion, but we want to see what the next step for Resistance is.

Guess we'll have to wait a couple more weeks, eh?
