Despite being 3D, this video from GameTrailers gives a good idea of how the game will play out. It adopts a new camera system that switches into a first-person view-point when the ball comes close to the player. That allows you to concentrate on positioning returns.

We'll be honest, watching an off-screen recording of the game running in 3D is a little nauseating, and it's not helped by the temperamental nature of the camera. But it does give a good idea of what the action will be like in Virtua Tennis 4, and with plenty of time for the original VT team (this is the Hitmaker team developing this) to iron out the kinks, we're very, very excited.
