Phew. All's Well In The Hardware Market Once More.

They paint a particularly pretty picture for hardware sales after May's disappointment

Both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable were up nearly 100%, shifting 305,000 and 121,000 units respectively. The XBOX 360 lead the home console charts thanks to the rejigged system re-release, though it still lost out to Nintendo's DS which continues to chug along in first-place.

Red Dead Redemption managed to shift just shy of a million units for a second month running, with the PS3 SKU being one of two PlayStation titles in the top ten.
