It was only last year that we were singing the praises of Assassin's Creed II, and now, just 12 months later, we're getting another game? Weird.

But this Brotherhood footage has changed our mind. While the single-player campaign appears to routed in the same gameplay and graphics engine as last year's game, new features will hopefully change up the campaign and keep it fresh. Detailed in this video is the ability to ride your horse through cities and take it into combat. We also see Ezio manning a cannon as he defends villagers from an invading force.

It all seems super slick. With Assassin's Creed II being as fun as it was, all Brotherhood needs to do is throw in more variety and plenty of missions to succeed. That's without even mentioning the game's multiplayer.

We're impressed.
