Any Chance Of Ezio Assassinating The Entirety Of Infinity Ward Before They Can Finish MW2?

463% (not an actual scientific calculation - ed) of expected Holiday 09 games being delayed, Assassin's Creed II is sticking to its guns. The game will launch on November 17th, that's just one week after the juggernaut that's had every other game's publisher running scared - Modern Warfare 2.

Producer Patrice Desilets was surprisingly buoyant about the release date of Assassin's Creed II. Speaking with VG247, the matter-of-fact Ubisoft man claimed, "the first [Assassin's Creed] game we released two weeks after Modern Warfare, and we still sold 9m copies."

To be honest, Assassin's Creed II is a juggernaut of its own. It'll be interesting to see if Ubisoft can topple Modern Warfare 2 just a week after its release. We're guessing no matter how well Ezio's adventure does, it still won't topple a week old Modern Warfare 2.
