In the past, the space elements of Ratchet & Clank have pretty much consisted of rails shooting and short warp hole cut-scenes.

That changes with Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time as you'll now have the freedom to explore the entirety of space. You'll be able to stop on various planets and engage in mini spherical platforming sections, as well as fight enemies and just explore.

Insomniac are yet to detail the scale of the universe, but as platforming fans ourselves, we're practically shaking over the prospect of a universe filled with mini quests. We love platforming games here at PushSquare. May they never die.
