Ever wanted to be in control of those music channels you were addicted to as a kid? Thank goodness for VidZone, a further application of the Playstation 3 hardware that will provide music on demand for Playstation 3 owners in the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Australia.
The service - set for release in the summer - will be completely free, but will have ads of some kind. You'll be able to use Remote Play to watch videos on the go via your PSP. There will be "thousands of music videos and live concert videos, as well as behind the scenes, interviews and making of footage" upon launch, but no word on how often it'll be updated.
No mention of this making it to the US at the moment.
