As you can see from the above trailer, it certainly looks like Rock Band. It plays a bit more like Amplitude, mind. The game will be released in Europe and America on June 9th. No word on a European price yet, but it will cost $39.99 in the USA.

Alongside the games launch will be a limited edition PSP bundle including a piano black PSP, a copy of the game, a 4GB memory stick and a download voucher for School Of Rock.

Rock Band Unplugged will be the first PSP game to feature an in-game store. Within that store you'll be able to purchase new tracks for the game — some of which (listed) will be a limited exclusive for the PSP.
