Another 8 games are headed the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium next week, with Sony confirming the full lineup just a few days ago. But as always, we want to know if you're actually happy with what's on offer.
Let's begin with Extra, which seems to just keep on delivering the goods. Sony's middle tier subscription appears to have quite a lot of fans, boasting a game catalogue that's packed with genuine bangers.
You can now add Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Persona 5 Royal to the list. The former is a brilliantly chunky action shooter that's been blessed with impressive post-launch support, and the latter is — in our humble opinion — one of the best Japanese RPGs ever made.
We're off to a good start, then, and the excellent Blasphemous 2 keeps the ball rolling, with its captivating blend of side-scrolling adventure, brutal combat, and often horrifying gothic imagery.
Metal Eden, meanwhile, is a highly rated, really fast-paced sci-fi shooter that's well worth checking out if you're looking to sweat. Frantic with a capital F.
And then there's Madden NFL 26, which is obviously an annual sports sim — and we all know how well they go down with PS Plus subscribers! This one'll no doubt be a low point for plenty, but with Extra, it's usually all about the variety.
Premium, though? You guessed, you're getting just one new game yet again — but at least it's a great pick. Tekken: Dark Resurrection — the PSP edition — is up for grabs.
For what it's worth, we've really enjoyed playing through old Tekken titles on PS5 — but you just know that Dark Resurrection, like its predecessors, won't come with Trophies. Bandai Namco, what are you doing?
