Capcom has announced that it will be hosting another Spotlight livestream to coincide with Tokyo Game Show on 16th September 2026, promising 40 minutes of news and game updates.
Rather than revealing what PS5 titles will be there, it simply asks you to stay tuned for "the latest news on Capcom" and its lineup. History would suggest the event will be relatively low-key, as Capcom Spotlight livestreams have never hosted major announcements. However, tying this month's showcase TGS could suggest the publisher has some bigger reveals in store.
On the TGS showfloor, Capcom will have the following:
- Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance
- Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen
- Mega Man: Dual Override
- Pragmata
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword
- Street Fighter 6
If the publisher is planning to go big with the livestream, then potential reveals could include the Resident Evil Requiem expansion that's confirmed to be in development. There could also be brand new game announcements or updates for the titles listed above, such as a Pragmata DLC.

They need to do a good job and pique the audience interest with this showcase otherwise it will look very grim for them considering what they released so far.
@Czar_Khastik I'm confused by your comment. Has Capcom not done enough releasing Pragmata, MH: Wilds , RE: Requiem and Onimisha this year? Or do you mean they've not got much coming up compared to this year?

When Capcom first did one of these events back in the day, I was expecting huge news but it was just a combination of already announced games and very little in the way of anything new, so now I just enjoy these events as a highlight reel. If Capcom used this for unannounced projects and reveals we had no idea about, this would end up being the show of the year…

Requiem story dlc would be a great surprise what a top quality game!
Capcom. One of the very few developers I am willing to buy their games at full price. Assuming I love the series of course.
I'm really excited about the expansion for requiem and Veronica next year too.
Pragmata was great, perhaps my favourite game this year, but I wish it remains standalone experience. Not every successful game needs a DLC, sequel and Netflix adaptation.
I wasn't expecting to see Pragmata on the roster of the show floor, since it's been out for some time, with no dlc to know of. Maybe they are announcing something new for it. I'm hoping for a bit more on RE:V

So many po-faced, judgmental individuals who jump on comments they don't agree with, like that fellow yesterday who says they hate the new ND game that's coming out who people were exceptionally rude to. Says more about them than the baiter.
I'd love an unexpected 'and by the way here's the Original Dragon's Dogma and the DLC remastered for current-gen', instant buy. Either way I'm excited to see the DLC for the second game.

Very surprising there's no Veronica, maybe the schedule is more like the following than the usual approach of having RE in February/March:
