Firefighting Simulator: Ignite may not be the most eye-catching new PS Plus Extra addition, but it’s worth pointing out the game is getting a major free update today, alongside its inclusion with Sony’s subscription.
Available to download right now, the free Shannondale Update includes “five new missions and additional content”. You can get a taste courtesy of the trailer embedded below.
If that’s not enough firefighting fun for you, the game is also adding the Motor Vehicle Accident Expansion today, available for $14.99/£12.99 – or as part of the Year 1 Season Pass.

The press release reveals:
“The Motor Vehicle Accident Expansion expands the firefighting simulation with new content focused on traffic accidents and how to handle them, including new missions, new gameplay mechanics, new tools, and more.”
So, this game is getting quite a lot of new content alongside its PS Plus Extra inclusion, then.
