Previously only announced for PC, boutique publisher Secret Mode and dev Absolutely Games has confirmed that its “cozily creepy” puzzler Fangtopia will spook PS5 later this year.
A unique blend of tycoon and headscratcher, this title sees you stacking hexagonal tiles and watching as “towns, fields, forests, mountains, train tracks, and valleys merge and grow when placed next to each other”.
You’ll get bonus points for connecting similarly themed tiles, but will need to think ahead in order to maximise the size of your weird and wonderful world.

The press release continues:
“Summon monstrous creatures from the underworld by completing objectives set by mysterious portals. Bring your kingdom to life with wicked werewolves, ghastly ghosts, spooky scarecrows, and more.”
The game will feature quick play modes for shorter gameplay sessions, as well as endurance options – complete with global leaderboards.
All of the content and features from the previously announced PC version will be present and correct on the PS5, optimised for DualSense controls and (behind the) couch gameplay.
There’s no release date just yet, but a PC playtest is scheduled to get underway, from 14th July and you can learn more about how to take part in that through here.
