
The astoundingly beautiful single player adventure game Blood Message will likely take advantage of the PS5 Pro’s signature PSSR2 upscaler and advanced ray tracing technologies, according to a Digital Foundry video.
It’s worth noting this is sponsored content, and Chinese dev 24 Entertainment hasn’t committed to any final specifications just yet. The game’s not due out until 2027 at the earliest.
But the game – set during the late Tang Dynasty – should be on the radar of all Naughty Dog fans. It appears to have the same swashbuckling adventuring as Uncharted, paired with the close-quarters violence of The Last of Us.

The aforementioned DF video digs into some of the wider technical achievements of the title, including its use of flagship Unreal Engine 5 features, like Lumen global illumination and Nanite geometry.
Visually, I think it looks truly remarkable, with so many bespoke animations on display in this vertical slice.
Obviously we’ll need to wait and see if the full game can deliver on the promise glimpsed thus far, but I’m optimistic about the production values and the narrative, which seems to have a much simpler throughline than some other Chinese-based plots.
