Capcom has announced it's removing all of the microtransactions related to Dragon's Dogma 2 from sale, as it prepares the sequel for its Dark Arisen expansion in October.
From 25th June 2026, the Dragon's Dogma 2 premium currency (Rift Crystals) will be taken off the PS Store, along with all the items you could purchase with real money, like Gaol Keys, Portcrystals, and Wakestones. Even the Deluxe Edition of the PS5 title is disappearing, leaving just the base version and a Camping Kit and a music pack up for purchase.

The firm said on social media the removals are due to "the development of additional content and various adjustments" in future updates, potentially suggesting the items may become more easily accessible. For example, last week's patch already added a fast travel item called an Eternal Ferrystone.
