Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been very quietly trucking along ever since its launch back in late 2017, delivering lots of free content for its dedicated community. It sounds like a genuinely good game now, and it's only going to get better later this week with a host of new additions inspired by the upcoming blockbuster film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Due for release on Thursday 5th December, Star Wars Battlefront 2: Celebration Edition bundles together every single piece of purchasable, customisable content released for the game and adds new items taken from the ninth entry in the saga. You'll be able to get your hands on Legendary Appearances for Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren when the movie hits theatres on 20th December, as well as a new map and characters to play as. We assume this means the Stormtroopers equipped with jet packs that a recent TV ad teased.
This sounds like a great update to the title, and surely a bit of a love letter to Star Wars fans across the globe. Don't forget that Star Wars Battlefront 2 is included in a subscription to EA Access if you're interested in checking the game out for yourself. Are you going to sign up?
