@Amplified It was announced about four hours ago.

Almost as good as the "full list of all games on PS Classic Mini" headline and tweet of the headline.

This one may be a short list but at least it's accurate, that PS Mini title was brutal trolling.

Off the top of my head I want RDR2, all the recent COD games, Fifa, and No Man's Sky to support cross platform play.

@Dange RDR2 and BO4 is certain to support this, they are the one of the games that will greatly benefit crossplay

I don't care about Fortnite, but for some games this is absolutely huge and a big deal. Also I'm looking forward to hearing how developers handle the "I have cosmetics on both ps4 and pc" issue.

That said, my son would love it if/when Minecraft is added so he can play online with his cousin on xbox.

Is this only games that are cross play between all 3 console platforms? If thats the case its going to remain a very tiny list, mostly because the Switch is not likely to get most of the "modern AAA" titles that the Xbox One and PS4 are going to get, so the opportunity for cross play between all 3 is going to be very limited.

Or is it a list of any PS4 game that has cross play with at least one other console? I think defining exactly what this list is, is important.

@vitalemrecords Blizzard had said in the past that Console Overwatch will never be cross play with PC because PC users would have the advantage with mouse and keyboard.

Now cross play with Xbox it could happen.

not gonna happen with the likes of destiny 2. and i can't imagine it'll happen with games which require playstation owners to agree to sign up to xbox live accounts. with fortnite, they may be satsified that all platforms are tied into an epic games account, and no info is shared directly.

Can we just sit back and appreciate that the best place to play, just got better?

I hope that list will stop on Forknite and Rocket League. Do not want people split on CP and PS only on other games. Do not want GTAO or rdr2o CP with modders from other systems.

Fps with crossplay seems like a nightmare, precision aiming with a mouse will always beat console.

I'd love to see it in MHW and Tekken though

Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way, but why would recent cod rdr2 fifa benefit? They have huge player bases already, you can still play black ops 1 on the ps3. Now if you said titanfall 2 I'd kinda understand

@gingerfrog Think you miss read the comments bud. Wasn't me that said they would benefit. I said I want them cross platform. Reason being so I can play them with mates who don't own a PS4.

I agree though, games like Titanfall 2 or others with a relatively low player base getting it would be awesome.

I have friends who are on xbox and id love to team up and have mic support etc. Does cross play allow that?

Hahaha what a list!! 😂 Crossplay's not something I'm overly bothered about as I, personally, don't really play online. I do, however, appreciate a clever idea so it would be nice to see one of the cods or gta onlines of the future have some form of Sony vs Microsoft mayhem. I feel we all know who would win that battle. Just like this console generation.. So do I drop the microphone now or?....

There are several PSVR that offer cross platform play. Rec Room even offers online multiplayer without a + subscription.

And why SONY knew most people didn't give a crap about cross play 🙄

Online Games that actually matter need to get the feature in the first place. Sony will cave once that happens... Just like they did with COD and Activision.

i only hope there also is an option to let you only play with ps4 players if you dont want to play with the others. since pc users can easily change from controller to m/kb before the game start. and nintendo online is the worst so you can expect plenty of lag if you play against those guys. also there will be all kind of problems when you hook up all four to connect to each others. so thats why i prefer to play with ps4 players only.

I would give whatever it took for crossplay in Monster Hunter just so I could play with my brother. That’s what the crossplay argument comes down to for me.

I'm just waiting for Apex Legends to get cross-play.

Monster Hunter World's would be a great cross platform game.

I can't wait for destiny 2 to become cross play i really can't, it's bound to happen since it's moving to steam this month. I expect it next year and I expect a PS5 version to come as well because after moving my saves to pc from PS4 and experience it in 60fps I can't go back to PS4 version

Ark would be nice with the upcoming expansion the timing would be perfect if they would do it as part of the release. Would be a great additional selling point.
