I'm more concerned about whether or not they've been able to get the framerate up to 60fps.
@Onion
30 fps is looks like =/
a new outlet reported 60 fps but then was corrected by a member of activision that it runs on 30 fps on all versions.
I'm hoping that the ps4 pro runs at 4k @ 30. which i would say is a reasonable trade off.

@Sirtoby
Yeah I think 4K and HDR support would justify the lower fps and would help give it the edge it needs over Mario Kart 8.
@b1ackjack
Agreed. I don't even normally care about framerate but CTR is going to have some serious competition when it releases, and I'm concerned that failing to hit 60fps will damage it. As you said, there are graphics-heavy online games hitting 60fps so it seems odd that this game can't do it. The fact it's a racing game makes me feel like it needs it even more.
We'll just have to see, I guess. Hopefully it won't impact sales. Sonic All Stars Racing: Transformed was 30fps on consoles and I loved that game.
Do we know if there will be private lobbies or atleast invite friends to online races?
Not long to wait now!
When is your review expected to drop?
My question is... Why doesn't this release tomorrow (Tuesday) like most games on PSN? I'm ready to play it NOW.
@sketchturner
Because the world doesn't revolve around america, it's rare but a few games have released the same time as Europe and most of the rest of the world
@Quintumply on the drop they're saying it launches one day earlier digitally...is that true? (at least in the US)
@manu0 That’s the first I’ve heard of it, but it’s there on the PS Blog, so must be true!
Hope there is no micro transactions. 🤨
This game will be on ps5 as well. That's why they chose looks over framerate on ps4. It will most likely run at 60fps on ps5.
Hi, I am struggling with setting up all controllers to "alternative" setting on multiplayer, at the moment mt controller is set up to alternative but there does not seem to be a means of setting other players controllers. Summarising, we want all controllers set on "alternative".
Any idea if the CTR skin packs from launch (Fairy Tale, Summer Time) will return to the shop after the Nitro Tour Event is done. I’m assuming so but I haven’t been able to confirm that. The only skin packs that are available are the packs from the current GP it looks like. Just curious if the others come back into rotation after the event?
